  • No paragraph indentations increase readability
  • User adjustable font scaling to aid user visibility
  • Line length of 90 to reduce conative load
  • Avoid use of columns, hyphenation and typographic formatting to increase readability
  • Design with user adjustable contrast to deal with lighting conditions and aid in visibility
  • Ensure semantic structure of elements in maintained, and semantically correct text
  • Compatibility with screen readers
  • Ensure non-text content is appropriately supplied alt-text
  • Screen rotation to fit more data on screen if user chooses
  • Vertical scrolling at all range of app scaling applied by user

  • Contrast ratio of 4.5:1 and 7:1 for smaller items to aid visibility
  • Uses APHont to aid visibility in poor light conditions
  • avoid super and subscript to increase visibility
